ATLANTA—Olshan Properties has completed the first phase of an expansive renovation of the 278-key Sheraton Suites Galleria hotel acquired here last year.

Key elements of the renovation include upgrading all guestrooms, construction of a Sheraton Club lounge, upgrading of the indoor/outdoor pool and pool deck, and an expansion of the on-site Sheraton Fitness Center.

The Sheraton Galleria’s Sheraton Fitness Center has been outfitted with equipment from the LifeFitness Signature Series, including treadmills, life cycles, a cable-motion weight station, incline benches, free weights, ellipticals and a power plate. Renovations to the indoor and outdoor swimming pool areas include updated surface tiling and new pool resurfacing complemented by new designer pool furniture.

All guestrooms have been refreshed with new Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds. The hotel’s newly added Sheraton Club Lounge, a perk of Starwood Preferred Guests membership, features complimentary breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvre and a variety of beverage options as well as meeting rooms and office equipment and supplies.

In the last phase, Olshan Properties will undertake the upgrading and redecoration of all food and beverage facilities on the ground floor, including the addition of a new Link@Sheraton café and a Starbucks kiosk.

The property’s final renovations are expected to be completed in advance of the opening of Cumberland’s newly planned $672-million Atlanta Braves stadium and a $400-million mixed-use development center that will span 74 acres in the area.
