WICHITA, KS—WoodSpring Hotels has reached an agreement with a development group headed by Karnail and Kanwarjit Singh to build the next WoodSpring Suites hotel in West Monroe, LA. The 124-unit hotel will be first WoodSpring Suites located in Louisiana and is expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2016.
WoodSpring Hotels is focused on strategic expansion across the U.S. The company expects to break ground on more than 30 additional properties over the next six months. Expansion plans through 2017 include the addition of properties in major metropolitan markets such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Portland and Minneapolis.
Once completed, the WoodSpring Suites hotel in West Monroe will feature such guest amenities as free high-speed Internet, guest laundry facilities and in-room kitchens in each guestroom.
