STAMFORD, CT—Westin Hotels & Resorts has introduced two nutrition-focused partnerships with SuperChefs and The Juicery, and the newest member of Westin’s Well-Being Council, dietician Ashley Koff, RD, all part of its yearlong Westin Well-Being Movement.

Westin teamed up with SuperChefs, a group of doctors, dentists, dieticians, chefs and more who are dedicated to educating kids on eating smart, for “The Westin Eat Well Menu for Kids.” The new menu, which has been introduced to properties globally, includes eight signature dishes created and tested by kids. The “Build Your Own Fruit Crepes” dish allows kids to play with their food to help impart the value of healthy eating, according to the brand. Each menu placement comes with games like word scrambles.

“Westin Fresh by The Juicery,” a new fresh juice and smoothie offering, is being rolled out to properties worldwide. It was created with leaders in nutrition, according to the company, with juices and smoothies designed for guests looking for healthy options while traveling. Westin Fresh by The Juicery juices and smoothies are designed to feature nutritious ingredients including beetroot, acai, kale, pomegranate, mint, spinach and blueberries. The new menu will be rolled out by early 2015.

Ashley Koff, RD, has been appointed to the brand’s Westin Well-Being Council, an advisory board composed of thought leaders who align with a specific wellness brand pillar, according to Westin. Koff joins Andy Puddicombe, headspace co-founder and meditation expert, and Arianna Huffington, media mogul, in launching new initiatives, leveraging proprietary research to introduce new programs.
