ATLANTA—The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) has revealed that president Fred Schwartz will be leaving to pursue other interests and the group will begin a national search for a new leader.

According to AAHOA, Schwartz, who has been president for the past 18 years, will likely stay with the association at least through the end of 2014. “Fred Schwartz has been the single most influential leader in AAHOA’s history. Much of what our association has achieved is directly related to his almost two decades’ worth of effort,” stated AAHOA Chairman Pratik Patel.
