Hotel Brokers International Names New Board With Hunter As President

KANSAS CITY, MO—Hotel Brokers International has appointed its 2006 board of directors, which include the newly elected Teague Hunter as president. Hunter is also vp of Hunter Realty Associates in Atlanta. Hunter succeeds Dick Lopez as president. Lopez is the president of Lodging Property Brokers in Napa, CA. Hunter was HBI’s salesperson of the year in 2005. The new 11-member board also includes Charlie Fritsch of MBA Hotel Brokers, who will serve as the board’s vp; Jeff Westgor of Westgor & Associates, who is now secretary; and Brandt Niehaus of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, who is now HBI’s treasurer. The remaining board members include Lopez, Steve Blue of Scoggin Blue, Joe McCann of Optimum Hotel Brokerage, Jennifer Church of Milmark Hotel/Motel Investments, Lili Gewargis of Brash Realty Co., Steve Ferrarini of ProCom Lodging Brokers and Tony De George of Greene Canfield De George.
