PARIS— The Hotel Inter-Continental Paris, which has recently completed renovations, was chosen to host the final judging ceremony on May 16, 2002 of the inaugural “World Master of Culinary Arts,” a global culinary competition launched by Wedgewood. The circa 1878 hotel hosted a gala dinner for 250 people, which included top chefs from Australia, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. In other news, the property also recently received the “Investors in People” award, which recognizes companies that excel in service and meet a specific set of benchmarks in service, noted hotel officials.
