Duluth Hotel Proposes Expansion

DULUTH, MN On Tuesday, September 26, 2000, members of the Duluth Planning Commission will consider Zenith Management s proposal to tear down the Arrowhead Center to make way for the expansion of the Inn on Superior hotel.

The proposal seeks to expand the 102-room hotel to 174-rooms. The project will require a variance if it is to proceed, because the city s water resource management requirements limit the amount of hard surface in any development to 30% of the total area to minimize stormwater runoff, erosion and pollution.
