SAN JOSE, CA Cisco Systems and RoomLinX have announced a formal agreement whereby Cisco will supply high-speed, wireless products and services to RoomLinX, a provider of networking systems and solutions for hotels, convention centers and commercial buildings.
Specifically, RoomLinX will design, develop, install and service wireless networks in hotels and convention centers using Cisco Systems Aironet wireless Ethernet card, which is based on the IEEE802.11 industry standard. Cisco will work with RoomLinX in the development, deployment and servicing of the installed networks. (9/25/00)
