CHHATTISGARH, INDIA—Courtyard by Marriott Raipur has opened here, becoming the 14th property for the brand in India, and the second in the state alongside Courtyard by Marriott Bilaspur.
The new hotel has some of the largest rooms and suites available in Raipur, including the largest guest suite in the city at 699 sq. ft., according to the company. The guestroom design highlights flexible spaces, with architectural elements and signature furniture.
Each of the 96 rooms and 12 suites feature high-speed wireless Internet; LED TVs; a work area with ergonomic chairs, as well as alarm clock docking stations; coffee machines; and signature aromatherapy bathroom amenities. The suites offer visual alarms and notification devices for door and phone, in addition to complimentary cocktails and business services. There’s also an onsite spa center with two therapy rooms.
F&B options at the new property include MoMo Cafe, an all-day dining restaurant offering a range of Asian and Indian delicacies; Java+ coffee bar, the second outlet in India and the seventh in the world, providing authentic Indian and international street favorites with signature coffee and baked goods from around the world; and B&W- The Bar, which serves a selection of classic cocktails and handcrafted beverages.
