Accor Expands Mecure Brand In Germany

PARIS— Accor has inked a partnership agreement with German hotel group Rema, which will add 15 new hotels, some 1,320 rooms, to Accor’s existing stock of 273 hotels in Germany. The new hotels, located in major cities including Berlin, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf, will join Mercure network in April 2002 as Accor seeks to have 150 Mercure branded hotels in Germany by 2005.
