Curtis Nelson Receives Honorary Degree

NIAGARA FALLS, NY— Curtis Nelson, president/CEO of Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, received an honorary doctor of commercial science degree on May 19, 2002 at Niagara Universitys 145th annual undergraduate commencement held in the Niagara Falls Convention and Civic Center here. Founded in 1856, Niagara University is a 3,375-student liberal arts university sponsored by the Vincentian community, an order of priests and brothers founded by St. Vincent de Paul. The university has five colleges, one of which being the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Nelson is a supporter of this college, which is one of four colleges of hospitality and tourism in the U.S., noted the university
