PARSIPPANY, NJ—Wyndham Vacation Rentals has acquired Vacation Palm Springs. The addition of the Palm Springs-based company, which manages more than 450 upscale vacation properties, marks Wyndham Vacation Rentals’ first entry into California.

“Vacation Palm Springs is an ideal fit for our business, and we are thrilled to welcome the company to the Wyndham Vacation Rentals family,” said Mary Lynn Clark, president, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America. “Through this acquisition, we have added Southern California to the growing list of popular destinations that we offer to travelers and have once again enhanced our growing rental portfolio in the U.S. In addition, Vacation Palm Springs’ dedication to delivering a quality experience to guests aligns well with our own service pledge, the Vacation Rental Bill of Rights, which provides peace of mind that can’t be found when booking directly from an owner and assures renters that their most common expectations will be met.”

Founded in 2001, Vacation Palm Springs maintains a diverse selection of privately-owned luxury homes and condos in popular desert area resort cities, including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta. Vacation Palm Springs offers options for a variety of travelers from those seeking a celebrity-like experience to families traveling with pets to large groups looking for a multi-bedroom home where they can vacation together under one roof.

“Wyndham Vacation Rentals is the perfect partner,” said Rob Kincaid, cofounder of Vacation Palm Springs. “Its scale creates additional momentum in the vacation home experience for our valued guests, homeowner clients and our local associates who will continue to be based in Palm Springs.”

Vacation Palm Springs joins the Wyndham Vacation Rentals’ portfolio of more than 25 established brands including ResortQuest, Hoseasons, James Villa Holidays, Landal GreenParks and Novasol. Collectively, Wyndham Vacation Rentals annually accounts for more than 10 million nights booked at the 105,000 rental properties it manages for property owners across 33 countries.
