DALLAS— Wyndham International has appointed three management team members at two of its Florida resorts to boost the properties’ strategic sales initiatives and drive meeting and leisure business. At the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Larry Rose has been appointed general manager and Doug McLain has been named director of sales. Additionally, Tim Corder has been named director of sales at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. To provide some history, prior to joining the Wyndham Bonaventure, Rose served as general manager at the Wyndham Greenspoint in Houston and hotel manager of the Wyndham Philadelphia at Franklin Plaza. Going forward, as director of sales for the Wyndham Bonaventure, McLain is responsible for sales and marketing strategies and for directing group sales efforts to achieve revenue goals at his new post. Lastly, Corder will oversee his hotel’s sales and marketing efforts, and is responsible for meeting the sales goals, and the rooms and catering forecast in his new position.
