NEW YORK The Whitbread Hotel Co., which teamed up last July with its former rival the Punch Group, to form a joint venture to build Travel Inns next to Punch pubs is set to double its rate of expansion.
Initial plans consisted of investing more than #80 million in developing Travel Inns, however, it is understood that up to 100 properties are now planned in the UK market.
