Westin New York Taps Giordano, Kaona For New Positions

NEW YORK— The Westin New York at Times Square has made two management appointments here. Christian Giordano has been promoted to catering manager and Leolani Kaona has been appointed sales manager. In his new role, Giordano will be responsible for soliciting new catering accounts, maintaining relationships with existing accounts and overseeing client functions. He previously served as the hotels convention services manager and joined the hotel originally as front desk manager four years ago. Kaona, who most recently served as regional sales and field marketing coordinator for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, brings more than three years of hospitality experience to the hotel’s sales team. Located in midtown Manhattan, the 45-story Westin New York at Times Square has 863 guestrooms.
