Villager Adds 6 Studio Inns

PARSIPPANY, NJ Villager Franchise Systems has added six Studio Inn properties, representing more than 750 rooms, in Mississippi and Florida.

The hotels, developed and managed by Southeastern Hotel Management Company of Atlanta, will be converted to Villager Premier hotels by the end of 2000. The Premier product is a more upscale offering under the Villager name.

Last month, at Villager s annual brand conference, Ken Rogers, CEO, said that Villager was in negotiations with two extended-stay hotel chains and expected agreements to be finalized by year s end. (11/9/00)
