Veteran Hotelier Signs On With Gulf Bay

NAPLES, FL Joseph Freni Jr., formerly general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Naples, has been retained as hospitality consultant to the Gulf Bay Group of Companies, a Southwest Florida developer of luxury real-estate properties.

 In this new position, Freni will work to develop and maintain service standards at the organization s various properties, including: the 103-suite Marco Beach Ocean Resort, slated to open in late 2001; Fiddler s Creek, a private, master-planned residential community; and The Tarpon Club, a deep-water marina on Johnson Bay. His responsibilities will specifically encompass management consultation and quality oversight in food & beverage, spa and resort, golf, tennis, recreation, retail and hotel (operations). (9/19/00)
