ATLANTA—Tivoli Properties, Inc. has selected the Mandarin Oriental flag for its new luxury hotel and residences project that is scheduled to open here in 2011. Mandarin will also operate the hotel. To be known as the Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta and the Residences, the 53-story, mixed-use development will be among the tallest structures in Atlanta and feature a soaring glass façade. It will offer 198 guestrooms, 71 residences, the 22,000-square-foot Spa at Mandarin Oriental, a fitness center, an outdoor pool and deck and four dining and cocktail venues. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart and Associates is the project’s architect and Hirsch Bedner Associates is the interior designer.
