SAN ANTONIO—Marriott International has named Tim Sullivan GM of the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and Riverwalk Hotels here along San Antonio’s River Walk.

The 30-year veteran of Marriott International will oversee the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation of the San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel.

Sullivan said, “I’m excited to make San Antonio my home and lead the renovation and restoration of our Marriott Riverwalk property, which will appeal to downtown San Antonio’s changing landscape and influx of young professionals.”

Previously, Sullivan served as general sales manager for the Western South Central Region, leading the Group Sales Team. He also served as VP/sales for Marriott’s South Central Region, GM of the Renaissance Dallas Hotel and regional VP/sales and marketing for the South Central and Midwest Regions, among others.
