NEW YORK—Renovation of The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta’s lobby has been finished, led by DCM Design Co.
The renovation was completed within two months. New lobby details include a living wall with wood and marble, an art piece in the shape of a tree by artist Gerardo Noriega that serves as the primary decoration in the center of the lobby and three new modules to improve interaction between guests and associates.
Japanese grass was planted in the resort and custom furniture in light colors was added. The lobby floor was replaced with marble and new sectioned areas were added, which were created by coral-inspired white dividers. Wooden art pieces by local artist Mariano Perez decorate the lobby.
