SEDONA, AZ—Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa, the 219-room resort located along Sedona’s Red Rock scenic byway, recently completed phase one of a $7 million renovation.
“Since opening in 1998, Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa has become a popular resort destination for both individual and group travelers,” stated Edgar Lozoya, general manager of Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. “Our new lobby and upcoming guestroom renovation will allow us to offer outstanding facilities, amenities and stellar service in the heart of Sedona’s red rocks.”
According to the company, the new 6,480-sq.-ft. lobby features a color palette of earth tones, artwork, furnishings and finishes that reflect the natural elements of Sedona.
The Living Room, a 4,875-sq.-ft. gathering space, is outfitted with couches, chairs, a fireplace and a community table reflective of Arizona’s Western heritage. Also featured is the VorTech Den, outfitted with leather chairs, workstations, a television and more. The VorTech Den, The Living Room and lobby also feature a variety of sculptures, abstract paintings and ceramic vessels created by Arizona and Sedona artists.
The new lobby was completed in April; the second phase of renovations scheduled to begin in fourth quarter will include the resort’s 219 guestrooms and suites. Guestrooms will be refinished and redesigned with locally inspired elements and materials.
Other amenities include a pool and kids pool with water features, as well as the Eforea Spa at Hilton, Grille at Shadowrock restaurant and bar and the adjacent Sedona Golf Resort.
