DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, FL— Noble House Hotels & Resorts unveiled The Shores Resort & Spa here last week. The property operated for more than two decades as a Hilton hotel and recently underwent a $33 million transformation. Prior to its launch, the resort’s 212 guestrooms were redone; SpaTerre, a new spa, and BALEENdaytonashores, a gourmet restaurant, were added; and public spaces, meeting space and the pool deck were enhanced. The investment in each guestroom was more than $151,000 with furnishings including a luxury bedding ensemble; a high-tech package consisting of a 42-inch plasma flat-screen television, DVD/CD player, wireless and high-speed Internet access; and new wall designs. The new “beach style” theme features a blend of painted rustic furniture, bright colors and soft textures. Meeting space renovations include new carpet and furnishings, as well as the addition of a boardroom overlooking the pool level and the Atlantic Ocean. Additionally, the outdoor pool area was redesigned, an outdoor tiki bar was installed and landscaping was upgraded. The lobby of was also redesigned with a mix of Colonial and tropical style furnishings in rich, bold colors.
