DALLAS—The Godfrey Hotel Boston has selected OpenKey to give guests mobile key access to their rooms via OpenKey’s app.
“We are very excited to be working with The Godfrey Hotel Boston to implement mobile key technology at such an iconic property,” said Brian Shedd, OpenKey’s VP of sales and marketing. “Guests can download the app directly onto their mobile device, check in on their way from the airport and go straight to their room while enjoying the convenience and security of smartphone room access.”
With the recent release of OpenKey Version 2.0, guests are able to manage their check-in, call the front desk directly, confirm their identity with an ID capture for security and send their estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the hotel.
“We want to provide the very best digital guest experience possible,” commented Justin Tait, director of operations at The Godfrey Hotel Boston. “The hotel industry is evolving and technology has a big role in that. We are excited to work with OpenKey and have a partner with a hospitality technology platform that supports our needs and can be implemented into our existing BLE locks.”
The Godfrey Hotel Boston is a 242-room lifestyle boutique hotel in Boston’s burgeoning Downtown Crossing neighborhood, which opened in February 2016.
The OpenKey app is available to download in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
