Sutton Place Hotel Goes High-Tech

CHICAGO The Sutton Place Hotel has become the first hotel in Chicago to debut Wayports high-speed wireless Internet accessibility in public spaces, and also the first hotel in Chicago to offer T-1 line speed connectivity in every guestroom and meeting facility.

Without the need for wires, guests can check their e-mails or surf the web at T-1 speeds from practically anywhere in the hotel by using the hotel s 802.11b (WiFi) wireless Ethernet cards. (9/19/00)
