CALGARY, CANADA The Superior Lodging Corp. launched today with plans for developing and franchising lodging properties in Canada. The corporation was formerly known as Royop Hospitality Corp., a division of Royop Properties Corp., which was recently bought by H&R REIT.
Marc Staniloff and Ian McAuley, former management employees of Royop Hospitality Corp., created Superior Lodging Corp. with the intent to expand the ownership and operations of its motels and hotels in Canada.
Although we were doing extremely well under Royop Properties Corporation, as a private company we will be more flexible, more dynamic and able to react quicker to development opportunities, said Staniloff, president and CEO. (9/28/00)
