Danaharta To Sell 3 Foreclosed Hotels

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd (Danaharta) has announced plans to sell three foreclosed hotels, with businesses and/or assets relating to another eight hotels being offered by Special Administrators under a joint tender to open on Oct 11, 2000 and close on Nov 15, 2000.

Of the 11 hotels, one is located in Kota Kinabalu, three in Penang, one in Langkawi, one in Port Dickson, two in Melaka and two in Johor Baharu. The businesses and assets to be offered for sale include an operating 200-room, 3-star hotel and a fully completed non-operating 126-room hotel known as the Golden Pearl Island Resort in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.
