SYRACUSE, NY—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will be bringing its Element brand here as part of a massive waterfront redevelopment project along the former Barge Canal.

Element Syracuse Inner Harbor is set to open in early 2018 and will be located adjacent to Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor, which is set to open in 2015. Both hotels are owned and developed by COR Development Company, LLC, and will be managed by Real Hospitality Group.

“The Element brand is a great choice for the vibrant city of Syracuse and will provide visitors with a smart, sustainable extended-stay option within the city’s redeveloped waterfront district,” stated Brian McGuinness, SVP of specialty select brands for Starwood.
