WHITE PLAINS, NY— Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has launched the pilot program for its new Stay InTouch technology initiative. The new technology, which uses specially developed software, is designed to allow guests to remain directly connected to their hotel anytime during their stay. Through the use of a device fitted with smart phone technology, guests will be able to stay in constant communication with their hotel, which can, in turn, provide guests with services no matter where the guests are. Starwood’s Latin American division is currently utilizing Stay InTouch at the W Mexico City and the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico. The Westin Resort & Spa Los Cabos in Mexico and the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center in Argentina will soon offer guests this new service as well.
