LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY— Developer Andy Krieger plans to build a 125-room luxury resort in this Catskill Mountains town. The project would include residential development and separate senior citizens housing, according to The Times Herald Record. The Catskills region was a major vacation destination in the 1940s-1960s, but has declined significantly since then, although there are pockets of resurgeance. Krieger expects the first phase of the project to open in 2008.
