Regent Plans For Resort In The Philippines

MINNEAPOLIS— Carlson Hotels Worldwides Regent Hotels & Resorts brand will be adding to its portfolio with a new property in the Philippines. The Regent Manila Bay is scheduled to open in fall 2009. The 80-suite hotel will be located in the Mall of Asia Complex, a 148-acre mixed use development that also includes a convention center, business district, shopping mall and restaurants. The Regent Manila Bay will be part of a hotel-within-a-hotel, according to the brand. Located within the Radisson Hotel Manila Bay, the two hotels will share a common structure but will have separate driveways, entrances, lobbies, guest facilities and staff. The Regent Manila Bay will offer 10 suites, 69 executive suites and one presidential suite as well as a signature restaurant, lobby lounge, fitness center and pool.
