CROMWELL, CT— Farouk Rajab has been appointed general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott here. He will oversee all operational, sales and administrative areas of the hotel, which is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. Prior to his appointment, Rajab was rooms division manager of the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Mystic, CT. He began his career with Waterford in 2005 as general manager of the Days Inn in Mystic. Rajab has also previously held general manager positions at the Best Western in Mystic and the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT.
