AREQUIPA, PERU—Radisson plans to renovate the Presidente Hotel located here. The property will reopen as Radisson Hotel Arequipa at the end 2015.
“As we continue to expand the Radisson brand in Latin America, it is important that we identify and develop in key locations that cater to both business and leisure guests,” said Javier Rosenberg, COO, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Americas. “This is an iconic hotel that will do both and will offer guests an elevated experience in the city of Arequipa.”
The hotel is located in the city center, adjacent to the Church of Santo Domingo and next to the Plaza de Armas. The hotel will offer 86 guestrooms and suites, a restaurant, fitness center and spa, swimming pool, shopping, parking and three spacious meeting rooms.
“We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to bring the Radisson brand to this iconic location,” said Denise Estefan, President, Radisson Hotels Latin America. “We look forward to introducing a completely renovated hotel in the city of Arequipa that complements our two existing hotels in Lima.”
