PROVIDENCE, RI—The Providence Biltmore completed a full guestroom renovation as part of a phased $13 million renovation.
Under the direction of Parker-Torres, an international design firm, the historic hotel’s 294 guestrooms and guest corridors have been transformed with a rich color palette, dark wood finishes and unique furnishings. New features include a custom-made king-size Biltmore Bed in every room.
“The Biltmore is an iconic landmark cherished by the city and generations of visitors,” stated Todd Finard, CEO of Finard Properties, the hotel’s owner and operator. “We’ve orchestrated this renovation with great respect for the essence of the hotel, while creating spaces that satisfy the sensibilities and needs of today’s travelers.”
Executive suites with city views and workstations have been custom designed for business travelers. Recently updated meeting and conference areas have natural light and views of downtown Providence.
The Providence Biltmore’s rooftop Grand Ballroom and meeting spaces have been restored as well.
The hotel also will undergo renovations to the lobby and function rooms in late 2014, creating a sophisticated look.
