Playa Hotels & Resorts Names VP, Revenue Management
Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. has named Eeva Lindroos VP of revenue management.
Lindroos will report to Kevin Froemming, EVP/chief commercial officer, Playa Hotels & Resorts, and will be based out of the company’s Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. In her new role, Lindroos will aim to maximize the company’s RevPAR and revenue potential.
Lindroos has previously worked at Hilton, Fairmont, Atlantis and One&Only Resorts.
Driftwood Hospitality Management Promotes Carol Davies
Driftwood Hospitality Management (DHM), a North Palm Beach, FL-based hotel management company that operates 70 hotels throughout the U.S. and Costa Rica, has promoted hospitality industry veteran Carol Davies from regional director of sales and marketing to VP of sales. In her new role, Davies is responsible for the sales, marketing, e-commerce and revenue management endeavors for the company’s entire portfolio.
Davies joined the company in 2016, bringing with her more than 26 years of sales and marketing experience. She has proven to be instrumental in her above property leadership roles of overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of branded and non-branded hotels, the company reports.
Knight Frank Grows Hotels Team
Global property adviser Knight Frank has expanded its U.K. Hotels team with the appointment of Kirsty Brannon as an associate in the valuations team and Josh Aspland-Robinson as a surveyor in the agency team.
Brannon joins from Santander, where she was a credit partner in the specialist corporate credit team, managing hotel credit applications and ongoing hotel portfolio management, having previously spent two years on the property credit risk team. Prior to Santander, she was at Colliers International for nine years working across its leisure and hotel consultancy teams.
Aspland-Robinson moves to the hotel agency team having joined Knight Frank as a surveyor in the hotel valuations team last year. During his time in valuations, he was focused on profit capitalization, working on loan security, viability studies and valuations for specialist and institutional funds, with banks, owners, investors and occupiers, predominantly within the U.K.
