Executives in the hospitality industry have taken new roles. Here’s a look:
Lodging Dynamics names Jamie Caraher president/CEO
Hotel management company Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group has appointed Jamie Caraher president/CEO. Prior to her appointment, Caraher had been serving as the company’s acting president since March and previously as COO.
She has more than 25 years of hospitality experience, and has held numerous roles in several hospitality disciplines, including sales, marketing and operations. Her leadership roles have spanned multiple brands from midscale to luxury hotels representing some of the largest hospitality markets in the world, such as Las Vegas and Orlando. She also earned the Marriott International Diamond General Manager of the Year award during her tenure with Marriott.
Providence Hospitality Partners appoints David P. Hale to development role
In a move to accelerate the company’s strategic growth initiatives, Providence Hospitality Partners (PHP) has named industry veteran David P. Hale to the post of VP, business development and acquisitions.
He most recently served as VP, hotel business development with the Paramount Hotel Group and Spire Hospitality. Previous experience includes corporate operational positions with Interstate Hotel & Resorts, Hilton Worldwide and Cendant Hospitality.
Hale’s role at PHP will be to expand the portfolio of third-party operating agreements, facilitate joint venture acquisition opportunities and identify strategic acquisitions for PHP’s investor network, the company reports.
Providence also named Jane Hugo Gomez regional director, hotel operations. She most recently served as regional director, operations for Sonesta.
