New hotels open in Nashville, Cincinnati; more debuts

Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown

Recent openings in the U.S. include a Staybridge Suites in Nashville on the site of a former fire station, aCourtyard by Marriott in Cincinnati inside the historic Ingalls Building,  and more.

Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Downtown
The historic Ingalls Building, originally built in 1903 as the world’s first reinforced concrete skyscraper and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, is the site of the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in downtown Cincinnati. The newly opened property is owned and managed by SREE Hotels LLC.

The 126 guestrooms, including six bi-level suites, offer views of downtown Cincinnati, as well as a desk on wheels allowing guests to work from anywhere in the room, a flat-screen television with premium channels, a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and a contemporarily styled bathroom.

Additional amenities include The Bistro dining establishment, a fitness center in the old bank vault, complimentary WiFi, guest laundry, a 24-hour Market and a business library.

Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown
Owned and operated by Tharaldson Hospitality Management, Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown has opened. It is the company’s 15th opening under the Staybridge Suites brand.

Developed in a previous site of a downtown fire department, Staybridge Suites Nashville-Midtown incorporates elements of the brand’s Next Generation 7.0 design program and features 164 guest suites and Station 350 bar. Other amenities include free laundry, extra storage closets, a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor pool and 3,000 sq. ft. of outdoor living areas.

Aloft Lubbock
In partnership with Taj Hospitality, QHotels has opened Aloft Lubbock, the brand’s first hotel in Lubbock, TX. It is located in the West End Center and near Texas Tech University.

This 136-room, pet-friendly hotel offers amenities such as WXYZ bar, the Re:fuel by Aloft grab-and-go breakfast concept, Re:charge fitness center, an indoor pool, 566 sq. ft. of meeting space and a backyard patio.

The property is close to The Buddy Holly Center, Silent Wings Museum and local wineries such as Llano Estacado.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Mesa Longbow
The Home2 Suites by Hilton Mesa Longbow in Mesa, AZ, has opened. Owned by Somera Capital and Concord-Eastridge and managed by Quorum Hotels & Resorts, the hotel has 111 suites with fully accessorized kitchens and modular furniture. Amenities include Spin2 Cycle combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Inspired Table complimentary daily breakfast, an outdoor saline pool and a fire pit and grill area.

Nearby attractions include Longbow Golf Course Complex, Hohokam Stadium and San Tan Village, while Cannon Surf Lagoon and Legacy Sports are expected to open next year.
