INTERNATIONAL REPORT— Three new dining and drinking spots have made their debuts, with each offering a distinctive twist on popular cuisines.

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
recently completed a $750,000 renovation of its Italian restaurant, Lucca. One
of the property’s three AAA Four Diamond-rated restaurants, it debuts a new menu
to complement the redesign by Larissa Garcia
of Cassal Diseño Designs.

Original artwork was made specifically for Lucca from Mexican artist Lulu Arce. Garcia also ties in some artisanal work from the Mexican state of Jalisco with the treatment used in the wall mirrors and molds made on pewter plaques.

Hotel Crescent Court

As part of the ongoing multimillion-dollar renovation, Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas, has opened Beau Nash, a new champagne bar and cocktail lounge.

The bar has more than 30 champagnes and international sparkling wines, as well as local Texas craft beers, wine and signature handcrafted cocktails. The cuisine at Beau Nash has American classics with a Texas twist, with both small and large plates, as well as desserts.

Designed to be the focal point of the lobby, Beau Nash “exudes timeless elegance with a beautiful marble bar top imported from Spain, tasteful brass light fixtures and rich materials,” noted waldrop + nichols studio.

Pullman San Francisco Bay

The Scroll Bar Waterside Kitchen has debuted at Pullman San Francisco Bay, offering a modern market with indoor and outdoor dining spaces, globally influenced, locally sourced cuisine and innovative cocktails.

Designed by Novato architecture and interior design firm EDG, the decor is inspired by its waterfront location. The 5,365-sq. ft. restaurant has an outdoor terrace and two adjacent private rooms with accommodations for groups and weddings up to 200 people.
