BROOKLYN, NY—The Tillary, a boutique hotel property, has opened in downtown Brooklyn. Formerly The Dazzler Brooklyn, the rebranded hotel will be managed by JAM 26 Hotels and will aim to provide an experiential stay.
Located near the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO and Barclays Center, The Tillary’s 174 guestrooms and suites, in addition to its public areas, were designed by Brooklyn-based Cl-oth Interiors, which incorporated elements such as end-grain wood tile flooring and polished concrete with jewel-toned furniture and gilded geometric motifs.
Offering a local experience, the hotel team has forged partnerships with local brands and manufacturers such as Kings County Distillery, Noble Tree coffee roasters, Mast Brothers chocolate, Salty Road candy company and The Sill to offer curated services and amenities in addition to on-site programming for locals and travelers alike.
Public spaces include its whiskey bar and deck, Distillary, which has 3,000 sq. ft. of outdoor event space and a menu of locally distilled spirits and brews. The T room offers an elevated café menu. A 137-seat restaurant on the ground floor level is slated to debut later this year.
Additionally, the hotel has an expansive 3,200-sq.-ft. event space with pre-function for special events and business functions with full AV capabilities. A 24-hour fitness center is also available.
