VICTORVILLE, CA— MJS Properties has purchased the 162-room Ramada Inn here from Hotel Victorville, LLC. The purchase price for the full-service property was $6.5 million. David Bowman and Danny Givertz from Amber Hotel Co. represented buyer and seller in the acquisition. MJS Properties is planning a $1 million renovation of the property and will keep the Ramada Inn flag, according to Amber Hotel Co. The property was built in 1971 as a Hilton and sits on five acres of land. Bowman indicated that the hotel’s location was one of its strongest selling points. He explained that Victorville is the largest city between the Los Angeles metropolitan area and Las Vegas. Amber Hotel Co. is a nationwide full-service hotel brokerage firm based in Malibu, CA.
