LAS VEGAS— Citing the economic downturn, MGM Mirage has delayed major projects planned for Atlantic City and Las Vegas until conditions improve. The MGM Grand Atlantic City was to be built on a 72-acre site adjacent to The Borgata in the Renaissance Point/Marina District. In Las Vegas, MGM Mirage had agreed to develop a major resort complex on The Strip in a joint venture with Kerzner International and Istithmar, the Dubai investment fund.
