Meliá Hotels International Expands in Bali

PALMA DE MALLORCA—Meliá Hotels International has signed a management agreement with PT Pilar Prambanan Investama, which is part of the Podo Joyo Masyhur Group, for Meliá Ubud, a new hotel in Bali.

Located 45 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport (also known as Denpasar), the resort will consist of 49 guestrooms, event space for weddings and other occasions and a YHI Spa.

Meliá Ubud will become the fourth hotel in Bali and the 10th hotel in Indonesia for the company, following Gran Meliá Jakarta, Melia Bali, Meliá Purosani, Sol Beach House Benoa Bali, and the upcoming Gran Meliá Bintan, Meliá Surabaya, Innside Yogjakarta, Innside Makassar and  Sol House Legian, which are currently in the preopening stage.
