DENVER—Colorado-based real estate investor and developer McWhinney has acquired the 123-guestroom Hyatt House Denver Airport Hotel. This acquisition expands the company’s hospitality portfolio. Denver’s Sage Hospitality will manage the property.
The extended-stay Hyatt House has pillow-top Hyatt Grand Beds and fully equipped kitchens. Amenities include more than 1,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a heated indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor grilling area, patio, 24-hour fitness center and complimentary airport shuttle service.
McWhinney has also expanded in hospitality management with the following properties: The Crawford Hotel at Denver Union Station; The Maven at Diary Block in Denver; Courtyard by Marriott at Centerra in Loveland, CO; The AC Hotel Portland Downtown; and The Elizabeth Hotel in Fort Collins, CO.
