BETHESDA, MD—Marriott International Inc. has appointed Toni Stoeckl to the position of VP, Lifestyle Brands.
In his new position, Stoeckl, who previously served as VP for the Renaissance Hotels brand, will have responsibility for Renaissance Hotels, AC Hotels by Marriott and Moxy Hotels. In his newly expanded role, Stoeckl will drive, define and execute global brand strategies and signature programming for more than 225 hotels around the world, according to the company.
In addition to his strategic and operational responsibilities, Stoeckl will play an essential role in defining the direction of the global marketing strategy for the brand, helping to ensure that each brand remains rooted in the lifestyle category, according to the company.
Prior to joining Renaisance Hoels in 2009, Stoeckl served as global brand director of Starwood’s Luxury & Design brands, based in New York City.
