NEWPORT BEACH, CA—Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. hired Emil Iskandar as a director in the firm’s office here.
Iskandar is responsible for securing debt and equity financing for hospitality properties nationwide. Specifically, he will arrange transactions involving full-, select- and limited-service hotels as well as resort hotels and golf courses.
Within Marcus & Millichap’s National Hospitality Group, he will work closely with Keith Bauer, an MMCC director and hospitality finance specialist in the Washington, DC, office.
Prior to joining MMCC, Iskandar was a VP/HVS Capital Corp. in Denver, CO. He has 10 years’ of experience in the commercial real estate financing sector, and has closed transactions valued in excess of $1 billion, according to Marcus & Millichap.
