Mandarin Oriental Debuts in Guangzhou

GUANGHZOU, CHINA–The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has opened its first city hotel in China in this industrial city in the southern part of the country.

The hotel, which features 233 guestrooms, 30 suites and 24 serviced apartments, is adjacent to Taikoo Hui, an upscale shopping mall, and connected to a major metro station. A high speed rail link to Hong Kong is nearby.

Hong Kong-based Mandarin Oriental operates or has under development 45 hotels, representing approximately 11,000 rooms in 28 countries with 19 hotels in Asia, 13 in The Americas and 13 in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In addition, Mandarin Oriental operates or has under development 14 Residences at Mandarin Oriental connected to its hotels.
