MCLEAN, VA–With nearly 1,900 properties open at year-end 2012, Hampton Hotels expects to open another 90 this year, bringing the brand’s worldwide total close to 2,000.
Mid-price Hampton Hotels include Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and, outside the U.S., Hampton by Hilton hotels. Collectively in 2012, 71 new properties opened their doors. The 1,900 hotels worldwide equate to 185,500 guestrooms.
Internationally, four Hampton by Hilton properties opened in the fourth quarter of 2012, including two in the U.K. and one each in Mexico and Canada.
