NATIONAL REPORT—First Hospitality Group Inc. (FHG), Expotel Hospitality and Dream Hotel Group have added new properties to their management portfolios. Here’s what you should know.
First Hospitality Group
FHG has acquired the Sheraton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel. The property has 296 guestrooms and 13,200 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet hall space. The hotel also includes a fitness center, the Sheraton Club Lounge, which offers complimentary breakfast, and Myrick’s restaurant offering.
Expotel Hospitality
The owners of the Richmond Inn in Baton Rouge, LA, formerly a part of the Best Western portfolio, decided it was time to move beyond its brand affiliation by putting Expotel’s team of revenue management, sales, digital marketing and ecommerce professionals in charge. The management company also promoted Kyle Loftin to a new leadership role within operations.
Dream Hotel Group
Dream Hotel Group has signed its first hotel in the Philippines. The 220-key Dream Hotel is located on the Carabao Island. When open, Dream Carabao Island will have 220 guestrooms and suites, including 100 ocean view villas, multiple dining and nightlife venues, an 18,000-sq.-ft. wellness spa and fitness center, and access to extreme sports.
