Lodgian Closes 2 Hotel Sales

ATLANTA Lodgian sold two hotels this week in keeping with its strategy to reduce debt through asset sales. The two sales resulted in net proceeds of $13 million. The Town Center Hotel in Silver Spring, MD was sold for $9 million, and the Four Points Hotel in Hilton Head, SC was sold for $4.5 million. Year-to-date the company has sold 19 assets generating approximately $187 million in gross proceeds. (12/7/00)
