NEW YORK—Melissa Brown has joined international hotel representation company L.E. Hotels as the new director of sales for North America. Brown brings with her more than two decades of experience in the luxury hotel and lifestyle industries.

Prior to joining L.E. Hotels, Brown served as VP of sales and marketing for the Trump Hotel Collection; VP of global account management and business development for Hotel Connections; and director of brand marketing worldwide for both the St. Regis and W Hotels.

“I am confident that Melissa’s enthusiasm and pragmatic approach to driving sales and building client relationships will greatly impact the company’s expansion,” said L.E. Hotels founder and chairman Efrem Harkham. “As L.E. Hotels embarks on its next phase of growth, Melissa will play a pivotal role in accomplishing our revenue goals.”

In her new position, Brown will manage the New York office, overseeing the Eastern U.S. and Eastern Canada regions. Beyond driving strategic sales, Brown will also be tasked to continue building brand awareness and client relationships.

“I am delighted to help lead the North American sales efforts for L.E. Hotels,” said Brown. “Every L.E. Hotels property is unique in its location, decor and management, and I look forward to the opportunity to help expand its global roster with properties that meet the same standard of luxury and quality as those in the current collection.”
