LA QUINTA, CA Johnny So has been appointed vp and general manager of KSL Desert Resorts, responsible for the operations of La Quinta Resort & Club and PGA WEST Resort.
So will oversee the daily operations of the 750-room resort, a total of nine golf courses, the 23,000 square-foot Spa La Quinta, world-class Tennis & Fitness Center, and 66,000 square feet of meeting space. He will also be in charge of PGA WEST, the site of major televised golf tournaments such as the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. (10/30/00)
